What do grades 3SP and 5SP mean?
They are GOST 380 designations. The number is the carbon and strength class — 3SP is the common construction grade, 5SP carries more carbon and yields higher strength. "SP" marks it as fully killed steel, deoxidised so no gas evolves during solidification, which is what a re-roller needs for sound surface quality.
Which section size should I order?
Match it to your mill: 130×130 and 150×150 mm are the usual rebar re-rolling sizes, while 100×100 and 120×120 suit smaller sections and wire rod. Ordering a section your stands cannot reduce in the available passes wastes yield on every heat.
What quality documents are provided?
A mill test certificate per heat with full chemical analysis and mechanical properties, traceable to the heat number stamped on the billet. Third-party inspection at the mill or load port is arranged where the buyer or their bank requires it.
